Oregon Continuing Education Requirements

Continuing education requirements for mental health professionals licensed in Oregon.

• LMFT: 40 CE hours every 2 years, including 6 ethics hours — 40 hours per 24-month reporting period: 6 professional ethics and/or Oregon law, 4 cultural competency, 2 suicide risk assessment. Supervisors add 3 hours. OAR ch. 833 div. 80.
• LPC: 40 CE hours every 2 years, including 6 ethics hours — 40 hours per 24-month reporting period: 6 professional ethics and/or Oregon law, 4 cultural competency, 2 suicide risk assessment. Supervisors add 3 hours. OAR ch. 833 div. 80.
