Florida Continuing Education Requirements

Continuing education requirements for mental health professionals licensed in Florida.

• LCSW: 30 CE hours every 2 years, including 3 ethics hours — 30 hours per biennium: 25 general, 2 prevention of medical errors, 3 alternating ethics and boundaries / telehealth. 3 hours Florida laws and rules and 2 hours domestic violence every third biennium.
• LMFT: 30 CE hours every 2 years, including 3 ethics hours — 30 hours per biennium: 25 general, 2 prevention of medical errors, 3 alternating ethics and boundaries / telehealth. 3 hours Florida laws and rules and 2 hours domestic violence every third biennium.
• LMHC: 30 CE hours every 2 years, including 3 ethics hours — 30 hours per biennium: 25 general, 2 prevention of medical errors, 3 alternating ethics and boundaries / telehealth. 3 hours Florida laws and rules and 2 hours domestic violence every third biennium.
