Connecticut Continuing Education Requirements

Continuing education requirements for mental health professionals licensed in Connecticut.

• LMFT: 15 CE hours every 1 years — 15 hours per annual registration period: 1 cultural competency. 2 hours on veterans mental health once every 6 years. No ethics mandate for LMFTs.
• LPC: 15 CE hours every 1 years, including 3 ethics hours — 15 hours per annual registration period: 3 professional ethics, 1 cultural competency. 2 hours on veterans mental health once every 6 years. C.G.S. 20-195cc.
