About Kira Yakubov Ploshansky

Do you feel like you're constantly letting people down, even when you're trying your hardest? You're successful on paper, but inside you're scattered, forgetting commitments, saying yes when you mean no. The pressure to perform is relentless at work, and your relationships are strained because you're either hyperfocused on tasks or too overwhelmed to show up. Shame and guilt are constant companions. Maybe it's ADHD, maybe it's anxiety, maybe it's just how your brain works, but adulting feels impossible. Intimacy brings more stress than connection. You're exhausted from white-knuckling through life and ready to understand why.

Specialties

My approach

I specialize in helping high-achieving adults navigate ADHD symptoms (diagnosed or not), emotional dysregulation, relationship strain, and sexual concerns. We'll uncover why your brain responds this way, what patterns served you before but don't anymore, and build concrete skills for boundaries, emotional awareness, communication, and managing perfectionism. As an immigrant who built my career while navigating ADHD, cultural expectations, and family pressure, I understand feeling torn between who you're supposed to be and who you are. Whether it's people-pleasing, guilt about disappointing family, or the weight of "should", I get it. Our work is shame-free, practical, and focused on real change, not just coping.
